Chancel Choir

The Current Worship Team

“The Current” is a contemporary worship service at St. Mark’s. If you are interested in using your gifts in music, reading scripture, AV, or joining the setup team during this worship time, contact Justin Vance.
Practices are Wednesdays | 5:15 PM.

Once a month, the Chancel Bells joins in worship during the 8:15 and 11:00 AM services. Contact Music Director Eric DeForest with questions.

St. Mark’s Orchestra

St. Mark’s Orchestra is open to musicians ages 10-100 who want to glorify God with music. Did you play in school? Do play currently? Do you wish you still played? Polish up your instrument and join us! We perform during worship monthly and conclude our season with a Sunday afternoon concert in May. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:00-7:15 PM – prior to a performance.

Free Concert Series

Clare Longendyke on piano

Enjoy the music of Clare Longendyke, pianist. This is a free concert, held in the Sanctuary. Clare Longendyke is a passionate soloist and chamber musician recognized for her colorful musicality, technical fluency, and ability to interpret repertoires across the musical spectrum. Clare holds degrees from the Boston University College of Fine Arts, the École Normale de Musique in Paris, France, and Indiana University. She currently lives in Indianapolis and is a Doctoral Candidate in Music at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. Clare is a Lecturer of Music in Piano at Franklin College. Indy Winds Flute Choir
The Indy Winds Flute Choir is pleased to present a concert that will take you on a journey through time! Featuring music of the Renaissance through today, you’ll hear classics like the first movement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from his Fifth Symphony, and Danse Bacchanale from Saint-Saën’s Samson and Delila – with a twist! Join us for an afternoon of fun and plenty of musical surprises! Indy Winds Flute Choir is based in Indianapolis and is comprised of local flutists of all ages. We seek to have fun while playing beautiful music and spreading joy and our love of the flute to the community. Laura Dubish, director, Mary Sue McAlister Assistant Director, Alistair Howlett and Carl Butler, rehearsal directors.
