Move  Here is a very fun praise song about God’s love. Get your family up and moving! What are some ways you can exercise to this fun song while you sing along with the chorus? Think of other things that are bigger than God’s Love.

Listen Here is our Bible passage for the week. This is the story of Jesus going into heaven, Acts 1:6-14.

Create  This is a fun song that you could share with a family member or friend. The message is great! “Love the Lord Your God with All Your Mind.”

Share  Find a plastic cup in your house. Decorate it however you want, and we are going to make a musical instrument out of it! Here is a video that shows you how to play the famous cup rhythm. Practice it and bring your cup to Kidz Music and Praise this Sunday and we will play the rhythm together.

Perform “God’s Love will Never End,” is a beautiful song. Try singing these words with joy, especially the chorus. While you hear the music, think of all the wonderful things that God created!

Reflect  Let’s review the “Disciple Song” that Mrs. Whitehead taught us last week. The disciples were with Jesus and watched when he went into heaven.

Listen  Here are our Bible passages for the week. You will see an artist’s drawing of the bible verses. Think of what your image of the holy spirit looks like and you can even draw it if you want.

Create  God thinks you are a Superstar! Listen to Mrs. Click’s Rap and see if you can think of at least 3 ways you have shown kindness and caring during the past 2 weeks. Maybe you can create your own rap! 

Share  The theme for Kidz music and Praise for the next couple of weeks is, “I am a Promise.” Please sing along with this great song and think of the ways you are a promise to the future.

Perform  Perform this awesome song, “Rock a My Soul,” with Landon who shared on Facebook this past week. Try just singing these beautiful words with joy.

Reflect  Last week Kid’s Music and Praise presented A Mother’s Day surprise! Watch their awesome Mother’s Day presentation.

Listen A verse that you should memorize this week is John 14:6. Repeat it a few times and you will remember it forever. It will always inspire you!

Create  Here is a sweet Mother’s Day craft that you will enjoy making. You only need a marker, scissors and two pieces of paper. 

Perform This week we have a Bible Memory verse for the week, “John 14: 6.”   Do this amazing dance while you say the memory verse. 

Sing and Celebrate  Here is a nice song you can sing for your mother. 

Reflect  Let’s sing last week’s sing-a- long song performed by Sam, Audrey, Cameron, Bri and Blair with their families, “Yes, Jesus loves me.”

Share Here is a beautiful song based on our Bible lesson this week, “The Lord is My Shepherd.” See if you can sing this with your family and add the harmony.

Move  Here is a very fun opening song by Mohawk Trails music teacher, Mike McBride. Follow him as he leads you and your family through movement to wake you up!

Create Make an instrument out of items in your house. Mr. McBride has a way for you to have a band right in your home!
Now that you found your instruments, please play these beats with Mr. McBride and record a video of your song.

Perform Perform this beautiful vesper song that Mr. McBride teaches. Think of church bells ringing and find a sound in your house that could sound like a bell and ring it on the words Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong.

Listen and Act Out  Here is our Bible story for the week, “Palm Sunday.” As you listen to the story why not act out the story with your family? See if you can come up with your own costume with items that you have in the house similar to those in the video.

Sing A Long  Here is a new Palm Sunday Song. Act it out with this group and then video record your family dancing and send it to a family member that you are missing.

Create Here is a craft for Palm Sunday of a Donkey Colt Puppet. Please print out this template or look at it for an idea to create your own. Play this Hosanna Song as the puppet parades through the city.
