Where Mission is a Way of Life
Second Starts addresses the household start-up needs of families in housing crisis in the Indianapolis area. This is accomplished by accepting donations of new and gently-used household items, which are then given free of charge to clients that are referred by housing assistance agencies.

At this time the items they need most are coffee mugs and bowls.
They could also use:
hangars food storage containers twin sheets twin blankets
storage containers (including cleanced cottage cheese, butter... containers)
baking dishes of any size

Of course ANY houseware items you want to send are welcomed but these are two that are inexpensive and probably items you have in excess in your homes! If you have any of these you would like to donate to Second Starts, you may bring them to St. Mark’s or you may deliver them yourself to Carmel UMC at 126th & Rangeline:
Hours:
Mon. & Tues. – 1:00-5:00
Wed. & Thurs. – 9:00-1:00
Sat. – 10:00-2:00

They can also use monetary donations to purchase needed items.  If you wish to send monetary donations, you can do so by check or through Paypal from the Second Starts website. For more information go to www.secondstarts.org or contact Sally at 317-908-0089.
