Where Mission is a Way of Life

Message from Lydia

I have had the privilege of uniting in prayer for revival to happen in Indianapolis and surrounding areas since moving here in 2003. We have met regularly and prayed in different parts of the city with diverse women (and a few men) who share the same hope and faith that God can and will unite us, refresh us, revive us.
There are things that God asks from us in order to bring revival: humbleness before God, turning from our sins, and seeking God’s Spirit to move among us.

2 Chronicles 7:11-12,14-15 says:
When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple, the Lord appeared to Solomon at night and said: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices…If my people, who are called by name,
Will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”

God is moving among us. Look around. Talk to one another. Ask where he or she sees God moving and then listen to all the amazing stories and testimonies you will hear.
Is there need? Is there hurt? Is there brokenness and hopelessness? Yes, of course, because we live in a broken world. But we have the God of Hope’s power and love to strengthen us, to share with others, and to encourage.   I pray that our family here at St. Mark’s, feels the power of the Holy Spirit moving. There are so many great opportunities to spread God’s love!

Each small group study offers unique personalities and insights that we can carry throughout our week! I invite you to step in to try one! Your participation is a blessing!
